Horizon Baptist Church exists to share the hope found in Jesus Christ with the city of Thornton and the surrounding communities.  No matter your background, our goal is to help you understand God's plan of salvation laid out for us in the Bible.  Whether you ever call Horizon home, the most important decision you can ever make is to trust Jesus Christ as your Savior.  You can find more information about this truth here.

For those who call Horizon home, our goal is to help you make God the most important Person in your life.  We have laid out a three-fold purpose to help each believer reach their full potential for Christ.

Love

Loving God and making Him first is the most important thing you can do as a Christian.  You will find this choice affects every other area of your life.  The victorious Christian life is founded in the Lordship of Christ.  Horizon Baptist Church strives to encourage believers to live according to this truth daily.

Grow

We believe the grace of God at work in someones life will cause them to grow as a Christian.  We recognize that every one of us has room to grow in our spiritual lives.  Horizon Baptist Church will challenge believers to grow in their own walk with God and in their relationships with other Christians.

Serve

God has called His people to be servants.  Servants to each other and to the world.  Our church family is dedicated to show the love of Christ through giving of our time, energy and resources to help people spiritually and physically.
